Google Analytics is a great little tool we like to use to track what is or is not working on your website. You can see how many visitors are coming from where and when. The reports we generate from Google Analytics are detailed enough to show visitors not only by country and by state, but even by city. Think of how valuable it would be to better understand how many visitors are coming from within the geographical area you serve instead of all over the world?
But you can also track what browsers are they using, what screen resolutions, whether they are using iPhones or not and so on. Why is this important? Because it gives you a better idea of what browsers your site should work on, in which resolutions, in which languages and much more.
We should have. Google Analytics provides exhaustive information about which searches are leading visitors to your website. Of course, it also tells us which aren’t working all that well based on who is coming. What Google Analytics does not tell you is who is not coming to your website and why. But we can help you with that too.
It's pretty simple. Google Analytics requires for us to install a small snippet of code – 9 lines to be exact – on the bottom of each page on your website.
Surprisingly, the code is free. But we do charge time and materials to set it up and this varies depending on how many pages you have on your website.
We were too when we first heard about Google Analytics. Just call us at 770-850-1640. We'll tell you more about it.
